Files scanned but not seen as spyware

XP is as secure as Swiss Cheese is solid

I have seen this app scanning the following files yet it
did nothing to stop or clean or repair such.

system32\svchostc.exe
system32\trojan.<filename>.<extention>

anyone else see this app scanning such files yet these
files not raise any undue alert etc. during a scan?
....of course after the scan completes and I go to try and
find these files myself they are nowhere to be seen--

Any thoughts as to the hows and whys and what-to-dos-to
repairs??

Win XP is swiss cheese, I guess that's why it attracts so
many RATS!!!

I am having the same problem when I run MS antispyware I
can catch sight of the names of some of the file that are
being scaned but they are not picked up by the spyware
program, I posted pretty much the same question, lets see
what comes out of it.
