Old system had two hard drives, an 80GB (system) and a 120GB, both Maxtor. I
recently purchased a Seagate 300GB, exchanged it for the 120GB and started
transferring files form the 80GB system to the 300GB. I then removed the 80,
inserted the 120GB drive and installed Windows XP to it with the 300GB drive
attached as my second. BIOS shows the 120GB (System) as the primary drive
and the 300GB as secondary. However, i now cannot access any files i
origianlly transffered form the 80GB drive on the 300GB drive, it promts me
to format the drive. Additinoally, Windows shows it as having 128GB (Basic
Healthy) which does not make sense. How can the drive work with one system
but not the other, this must be a software problem not hardware. Any help
would be very much appreciated
