"Files of type" open command missing in word 97

my word "files of type" 'open' and 'print' actions are
missing somehow XD
Application used to perform action (including
parameters, /n or whatever)
and the DDE message line

I believe they go something like this:
"c:\program files\microsoft office\office\WinWord.exe" /n
and
[(%1)]

I've tried somewhat to much and I'm getting a little
agrivated. Any help will be greatly appreciated..
 
Hi Snorri,

Safest would probably be to re-register Word 97.
Right-click your WinWord icon, choose properties. In the
"Target" area, make sure there's a space after winword.exe
then type: /r

"OK" to close the dialog box. Click the icon. Word
shouldn't start, but you ought to get a message about
Winword having been reregistered. Remove what you typed
into the properties.
