i bought a new flash drive, IBM USB2.0 1GB and downloaded some files in
different folders but when i took it to another computer, i was told
the folders were empty. I decided to delete the folders but was told
the folders where not empty, they contained content and so can not be
deleted but on opening the folders i can't find my files!!!:):) what do
i do next and what must i have done wrong? the files are important and
downloading them without placing them in separate folders seems
unimaginable.
help wanted.

A decent recovery program should be able to fix the mess.

I like Easy Recovery Pro, but it isnt cheap.

Did you cleanly remove the drive, i.e. asked windows to remove it
and then wasited for it to tell you it could now safely removed?

If not, you files bay still have been partially in the
OS write buffer.
