files getting deleted

ok scanned images in the file server start to get deleted. have about 30 workstations connected. already reformatted the server and workstations. Do you think I might have a worm or virus? I scanned both my workstations and server.
 
Have you run a full scan on the server & workstations with the latest
updates from Symantec?
