files behavior in internet explorer

hi

when i click the links of rar, ace, and some other file
types in internet explorer i do not get the "save" dialog
box, Internet explorer starts openin the files as if they
were text files.. i mean they are opened in the same
window at texts.

any help?
 
Check your file relationships in tools-folder options-file types

find your relative file extension (ace, rar), click the advanced button and
check the confirm open after download box
