I am running the FAST Wizard with my old and new computers
connected via serial cable. After the initial steps
everything seemed to be going smoothly, but now the
progress bar hasn't advanced for the last 12 hours....is
this normal? It seems to be taking an extremely long
amount of time. Can anyone shed some light on what might
be the problem? Please help! Thanks.

How many files are you attempting to write out with this? F.A.S.T. has a
limit of 63,000 total files. That's a lot, and you're probably not over the
amount, but it is a hard number to look at. Also, if you have a large number
of multimedia files, this will inflate the export considerably.

But it sounds, in your case, like it's jammed. It shouldn't take anywhere
near that long.

I recommend you read this article by Gary Woodruff and compare what it says
to your experiences thus far:
