Hi,

I would appreciate any help regarding a query I have. Can I select a number
of files in one directory in Windows Explorer and change the extensions of
them all in one go? For instance, if I had 100 files with different
extensions, can I select them all so that all of them then have the same
extension?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Geordie

And that would help how?

Well, it depends on the extension. Normally you can't change the file
type by just changing the extension. If you wanted to change 100 .bmp
image files to .jpg image files, you could do a mass conversion with a
program like Irfanview.

Post back with more information about what you are actually trying to do
for focused help.
