Hi, my name is Deeman and I am from South Africa.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Filemaker?
The machine that had the software loaded has crashed and the installation disc is m.i.a.
I have copied the db file (.fp3) and want to know if and how I can extract to another application.
Any help would really be appreciated.
Cheers

You could try MS Access, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I don't know of any 'free' viewer that can open a Filemaker file. Sorry.

I have been using Filemaker for a long time and the file that you have, .fp3, is from a very old version of filemaker (Filemaker Pro 3). As far as I know the only way to convert a filemaker file is to load it into filemaker and export it in another format. The standard comma delimited is probably best. However, that means you need access to a machine with filemaker installed.

Sorry, not much help really.
