FileDialog Open in PowerPoint

I want to allow users to pick slides to insert into a presentation. In
PowerPoint when you use File>Open the resulting dialog box shows a preview of
a .ppt file in a viewing box. When I use the
FieDialog(Type:=msoFileDialogOpen) there is no ability to view a highlighted
..ppt file.

Does anyone know if the object used in PowerPoint for FileOpen is available
for use?

Many thanks, Sarah.

Hi Sarah,

Not my area of expertise, but I did get one going from code I found on this
site:

http://vbnet.mvps.org/

Do a search for open dialogue, or something like that.

Hi Glen,

Thank you for your reply. I haven't found the solution yet, but you have
directed me to a very useful site that I didn't know about.

Kind regards,

Sarah.

Hi,

Actually, I noticed last night Shyam has something about that for at least
2000.

It is a start, but I think it is more complicated.
