File won't save

I'm trying to save a project, I have tried to both my hard drive and I've
tried to burn it to CD and tried in a variety of sizes and it gets about 50%
of the way through before an error appears which says that it can't be saved
and the check that (and I'm paraphrasing) the original files are still
availiable (which they are) the location whre the file is being saved is
still availiable (it is) and there is suffiecient disk space (which there is)

I was wondering is anyone could give me any suggestions as to how to rectify
this prblem. I have saved another file since the problem occured so I don't
know what it is.
