File unusl on C. disk

When I open my mail (POP sistem) a small file is created on my C:\ disk.
Ex: s1d8.1 ond small text file with my mail content. Peridically I delet
this file, but why is it happen? May I change this situtation?

I have this smae problem driving me nuts, I have a Fujitsu laptop
running windows XP with Outlook as my email software.
 
Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
