Previously with an XP laptop, I was able to remote desktop to my office
computer and enable local resources. I could show my laptop drive C: on the
remote and copy and paste files from laptop Explorer to Remote Explorer.
With a new laptop running Vista, after enabling local resources, the
Explorer on the office remote will show all drives on the laptop except the
C: drive. It seems as if because the remote has a C: already. I cannot
transfer any files from local Explorer to Remote Explorer. None of the local
drives (eg D,E) listed on the remote Explorer can be accessed.
Is there a cure for this problem? I should note that the remote destop is
running 64 bit XP. I am using Vista Home Premium. However before my laptop
was running 32 bit XP connecting with no problems.
Thanks for any help.
