file : Thumbs.db - what is that?

Hi
For Some times I have seen a file called 'Thumbs.db' (7000 kb) in all my
web-folders under FrontPage. The file always have the actual date . When
deleted from one webforlder this dosent effect any of my webpages.

I'm affried that this is some kind of virus ....
I have Mcafee - but get no warning on this file .

Do any of u know this file...???
