In other cases, svchost.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm! http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/svchost.exe.html Run TrendMicros Housecall and see if this is enough for removal. http://housecall.trendmicro.com Permit TrendMicros ActiveX module.

It is to 99,99% a virus, trojan or spyware, svchost are often used to "support" malware and if MSAS detects this I am sure that this is a false svchost.exe in wrong folder.
