I have WIndows Me and Xp on my computer. While installing
the XP, I accidentally selceted the file system to be
NTFS. Now when I boot my computer using the Me, it does
not detect the drive which has my XP. I know that it will
not since my Me has been installed with the FAT32. I wanna
know how can the Me be made to detect the NTFS. Is there
any file system convertor.

Thanks,
Kiran

Hi Kiran
Windows ME doesn't support NTFS drives at all, however there are some 3rd
party programs around that will let it use NTFS formatted drives.

See: http://sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/ntfswin98.shtml
The free version will only let you read, not write to an NTFS drive. You
cannot convert your drive back from ntfs using a Microsoft tool, you would
require something like partition magic.
