Hi All,

Please could someone help me. I am after a solution to a problem which is
file size. When i insert a picture into my Powerpoint presentation it always
shows it in the incorrect size, i.e. it is always bigger than it should be.

I need the photo to be the exact same size so that i can see the whole photo
when displaying the Presentation.

Any advise would be greateful.
 
One way to get pictures full slide size it in format > slide layout choose
the "content" option. Click the picture icon to add a picture. Your pic will
be resized to the size of the placeholder (assuming its larger). As standard
the placeholder is a little smaller than full slide but you can stretch it.

Be aware that if your pics are larger than the slide the size of your
powerpoint file is also probably larger than it needs to be. If this matters
to you (eg if you are emailing the file) then use the picture toolbar >
compress pictures tool set at 96 dpi all pictures.

When it comes to images, it's hard to pin down exactly what "correct size"
means.
