Any ideas why a .ppt file will increase in size every time
you do a save even if you don't change any thing in the
file.

Is there a way to cut the file size back down to it's
orginal size?

First, turn off fast saves. Then, open your presentation and re-save it
under a new name. The size should shrink back. For more information, check

Go to Tools > Options > Save and turn off Fast Saves. Go to File > Save as
and save with a new name. Compare the sizes. Much smaller I'll bet. Leave
Fast Saves of forever and ever and ever. <G>

In addition, do not backward save to maintain ppt95 compatibility, this also swells file sizes.
