File Sharing

I've got a network of 5 computers all running xp and
2000. All computers can access the shared internet
connection, however only some of the computers can browse
all of the shared files, whilst others just crash when you
try to view "entire network". Being fairly new to this,
I'm not really sure why some computers work and the others
don't. I've set them up all the same way. Any ideas?
 
It just says that the network is not responding and/or I
may not have permission to browse the network. On another
computer, network neighborhood just stops responding and I
have to end the task with a CTRL+ALT+DEL
