Is XP not compatible for file sharing with NT2000 or WIN
98 ??

I have set up file sharing before with two systemw working
under 98 and had no problems. Now I have XP and can't set
anything up.

I'm working through a cable router. Anyone help ?

Thanks.

All versions of Windows can share files with each other. Make sure
that:

1. All computers use the same, single network protocol, and:
2. Firewall programs aren't blocking access.

I've written a web page that should help you get everything working:

I still can't get it to work. When I enable a folder for
sharing and try to access it by another computer through
my router, I get the statement "There are currently no
logon servers available to service the logon request."
