Under Windows 2000 I had a LAN that allowed access from one computer to the
other as if it were one computer. I upgraded to Windows XP and I have not
been able to access anything outside the local computer.
I already turned firewall off. Please help

Hi Alvaro.

You failed to mention if you have Win XP Home or Pro. In home you got
to allow Guest access over the network. Note though that it is not
the same as activating the Guest account. More help and info

If you want to do an normal file sharing with computers all the computers
must be connected in the same hub. than you should setup 2 groups and then
you can share file by clicking right on an icon and then Sharing and Security
and then alow this file to be shared on (COMPUTERGROUPSNAME) then give a name
to it
