Does Windows Media Player share the files you've
saved to your hard drive? I don't download music or use a
file sharing site like Kazaa, but people are telling me
that even if I only copy my own CDs to my hard drive, I
may be unwittingly allowing that music to be shared with
others just by using the Windows Media Player. Is this
true? Might my files be shared with others without my
knowing it or intending it? Or is it an option (to share
your files)that I can disable? I want to find out if my
files are or could potentially be shared even tho that is
not my wish -- I don'twant to sound stupid, but I've been
unable to get my question answered through any Microsoft
on-line help. My thanks to "Galley" for responding to my
original question -- my I was asking not HOW TO SHARE but
if I am at risk of having my files shared
unintentionally. Is Windows Media Player a form of file
sharing?
