I just did a clean reinstall of Windows 2000, and now, I cannot access
shares on another Win2K system. Every time I try, I get the
username/password box and each time the username and/or password is
not recognized. This happens when using the default share (C$) or an
explicit share name assigned to a folder on the other Win2K system.
Sharing back to the reinstalled version of Windows from the other
machine still works just fine.
Usernames and passwords on both systems are identical, and they are
both set up on the same WORKGROUP.
I have run out of ideas as to what might be wrong -- any ideas?
TIA
