I have a wireless home network set up. Right now there
are two computers, a laptop with XP preloaded and a
desktop that I upgraded from ME to XP. The printer is
attached to the desk top. Both computers access the
internet fine. The laptop can see all shared folders on
the desk top as well as print remotely through the
desktop. On the desktop however, when I try to see shared
folders on the laptop I get a message that says that the
desk top does not have access to the workgroup (MSHOME)
and can't see any folders on the laptop from the desk
top. (Sorry if this desctiption is circular). I can't
figurout what I have set wrong. The dialog boxes on the
two computers for Network settings are slightly diferent.
I'm guessing this is because one has a more recent version
of XP. I've applied all available updates to XP on the
computer I upgraded. I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thanks!
