File Sharing between Win2000 and XP - Need help

Hi,

I have three computers. One has Window XM and other two
has Window 2000 server. All this computer is netwrok using
the wireless router and cable modem.

I want to connect all these computers so that I can mount
the drive and share the files.

I did set up the drive and folder to allow access by each
compuer. I can see list of computers on all. I can also
see Window XP shared drive/files/folder/directory on
Window 2000 server and i can access it. However, I can't
see the Window 2000 share files/folders/director on window
XP or other window 2000 server.

Can you please help me to see what's going on .......???

Sam,

Are all 3 computers in the same workgroup? Do you have a common
userid / password setup on all 3?

Does the non-visible Server 2K computer have a firewall? Are the
other two computers in its trusted zone?

There are multiple reasons on why you are not able to see the third
computer. Some of the things to check for

Did the computer in question have a correct IP address?
If yes, can you ping the IP address?
Make sure ICF is turned off.
Alternatively enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP
