file sharing and access

Hi guys,

Im using windows XP home edition

Does limit the number of users which access its shared
folder? Im experiecing it, after five users i cant seem to
access the shared folder.

One more thing is that Simple File Sharing option is not
available in my XP. why is that?

Hope to hear some suggestions and solutions

XP Home is limited to 5 connections. XP Pro to 10.

Simple File Sharing is the only option in XP Home. The option to turn it
off within Folder Options> View is only available in XP Pro. XP Home users
can access the extended Security and Sharing tabs in a folder's or file's
properties by booting to Safe Mode.

Doug Knox has the details about how to get the Security tab into "normal"
Windows at his website. It's not a supported workaround but if it's
