File share with a twist

I have a Vista and a XP Pro machine on a network.

Vista can see and write to the XP drives. XP can see the drives in
Vista but cannot share the files on them except for 2 of the 6 drives.

I have double checked all the settings but cannot understand why 2
drives are shared and not the other 4. Help please!
 
either the drives arent shared, or permissions arent correct. theres nothing
else it could be.
