File Server for Mac on Windows 2000 Server

Dear all,

I was trying to turn on the File Server for Mactinosh. And, it seems
it would fail on me due to the following reasons.

I have been trying to fix this problem for a while now. Anybody has
any suggestions on what to do?? Because I have clue on how can I fix
this.

Hi Daniel!

This will occur when you don't have the proper information entered into DNS
or you don't have the correct domain information entered in your server
name. Verify that MATHSERV has the proper DNS information entered in your
computer name network setups.

Services on any server require authentication. If the servers are domain
members, then the authentication comes from the domain controllers. Even if
your server is a domain controller itself, it must have the proper network
credentials in its configuration to authenticate the Mac File Services to
the domain.
