File, Send To

Historically I have been able to use the File, Send To feature to send
html-based emails within the body of an Outlook message (my version of an
e-newsmail). Recently, our company upgraded its systems with the Office 2003
SP2 and now the File, Send To feature automatically adds the page as an
attachment (icon) within the body of the Outlook message instead of the
behavior described above.

I have looked in the Office 2003 SP2 info on Microsoft's site and do not see
a change to this feature listed. Is anyone familiar with this? Was it
changed due to the installation of SP2? Is there a replacement feature to
accomplish what I HAD been so successful with all this time?

Thanks! Laura :-)

You need to post this to the Outlook newsgroup.

Try asking this in one of the Outlook news groups. This one is for questions
about FrontPage.

I just completed posting to the Outlook group, however, this issue is a
combined application question as I create the html-based message in Front
Page and chose File, Send To which allowed the html page to appear within the
body of the Outlook message as opposed to appearing as an attachment.

I understand but the problem you're having happens once you go to Outlook.
It's not anything being cause by FrontPage unless there's a question about
the layout.

However it is not a FP related issue, it is the email application that control how html based emails
are handled.

The issue you're asking about is the attachment (office 2003 SP2) thing, VS
the content-in-outlook-message prior to Office 2003 SP2; which makes it an
Outlook problem, not a Frontpage issue.
