I suppose this is more a Win2k issue than MS Office
issue...
I was changing machines, and archived all my files,
including a .pst file for email (Outlook 2000/XP)
On the new machine I tried to import or open the .pst file
in Outlook.
I get the message "File access is denied. You do not have
the permission required to access the file
c:\Doc....\bu.pst
I am logged in as Administrator. Do I have to recreate the
profile of the original machine? I checked the file
security, and it looks like I should have full control. I
also tried asserting ownership of the file as
administrator, which I am logged in as.
