Hi

I am getting a message that one of my drives is corrupt (h:)
My questions is: if I have 4 hard drives on the server, how do I
find which hard drive "h:" is on, so that I can replace the drive
before a crash occurs?

Thanks

The drive may not have a physical problem, it could just have a file
system problem. You first want to run a chkdsk /r on the drive and see
if the problem is resolved. This is the full chkdsk and will take a long
time to run. If it shows there are bad clusters then the drive should be
replaced. If it fixes the file system but doesn't show bad clusters than
the drive should be fine unless this continues to happen.

To determine which drive physicall is H just go into Disk Managment and
it will show the layout of all the drives.
