Hi Tim,
Very unusual problem. It would appear based on the testing you did to be confined to this one
machine.
If you access the shares using a UNC path, such as Start - Run - \\servername\sharename do
you get the same results?
Being that the other clients do not have this problem, then this is on this particular machine.
With that in mind, I would boot into Safe Mode with Networking and then access that same
resource and see if you have the same issue. If not, then look for something starting in regular
mode, such as some type of third party application, or it could be related to the video driver.
You can try replacing/upgrading that first if you want.
Let me know what the above tests reveals.
Thanks,
Gary

workstation is a Win2K pro workstation, and I have tried logging on as myslef to see if it was a
profile issue, it wasn't. I have tried searching with both the indexing service turned on, and off,
same results. The curious thing is that when I search from my system, I get a result of 10 files
with the proper path and file name, he also gets 10 results, but they just return as drive letters.
Any insight on this issue would be much appreciated.
