I am about to install Vista Beta 2 into my machine . I have two hdd's
installed and I was wondering if I should unplug my storage drive to be sure
that Vista does not mess up my files and other stuff(eg mp3's,pictures,etc).
I use one drive for the os and one for storage, will my storage drive be safe
or should I play it safe. Thanks

As long as you are VERY careful not to install Vista to your storage drive,
you should be OK. I have only heard of Vista messing up the hard drive that
it was installed to.

However, this is beta software, so there are no guarantees, and there is
always risk involved.

So, if you don't want to take the chance ... unplug the second hard drive.

I have 2 hard drives installed myself, one of them has Windows XP, and the
other has about 7 versions of Vista on it ... so far, I've had no problems,
but your mileage may vary :)

Hello,

There should be a question mark icon on your Vista desktop that says
"Feedback". If you double-click on it, it shows you multiple ways you can
contact microsoft about Windows Vista. :)
