Hello,
I have some Symantec\Norton's related files in my
C:\Program Files\
C:\Program Files\Common File\Symantec Shared\
C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Applications Data ....
That I need to remove, Norton's tools do not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From the Windows screen => Cannot delete Catalog.dat:Access is denied.
The source file may be in use.
........ Or some similar message
I have tried from the cmd line command
cd c:\PROGRA~1
del SYMANT~1 etc ==> Access denied
I have tried from the repair console
cd c:\PROGRA~1 ==> Access denied
much less
del c:\PROGRA~1\SYMANT~1
My Question how does one even get into the Program Files area from the
Recovery Console if one has to effect repairs from there.
Is this an attrib parameter that has to be reset ?
Thanks
