After installing XP service pack 2, all file recovery software I have tried
says "Cannot open Logical Drive C:". The same for Drive G: which is a
bootable usb flashdrive with BartPe. Both drives are Ntfs. Drive F is a data
disk, ntfs, and I have no problem with the recovery software. I checked all
recovery software websites and found no answers. I have checked MS Knowledge
Base. The solution is most likely in front of my eyes but I cannot see it. I
have no problems other with C: . Fully bootable and usable. Any help would be
appreciated. Thank you.
