Would anyone know the origin of a file named psdrv.exe. It is in the folder
C:/windows/inf. It is hogging up a ton of RAM. I view it in msconfig, under
processes. It is using between 50-70mb RAM and slowing my machine to a crawl.
Tried ending the process via mconfig and it starts right up again. Looked
in the startup file and it doesn't appear here. But it must be disquised.
..
Did a word search on google and it brought back that psdrvcheck.exe is an
Epson print driver. I don't have an Epson printer. And the file is
psdrv.exe.
I updated my NAV and scanned. No viruses. I scanned via Ad-aware SE,
cwshredder, regeditorand no hits for malware or viruses.
