I have about 1,000 records recorded as WMA files in which I want to clean up
the audio sound. I purchased Audio Cleaning Lab 2005 by Magix which seems to
do a good job, but it does not transfer any of the information about the
album I have recorded in the file properties. Magix responded to an
information request stating that Microsoft does not give them the ability to
access the information. Is there any way to transfer this information without
retyping it in the new "cleaned" file?

There is an entire Windowsmedia SDK published that Magix could easily
use to extract tag information from WMA files. If they can read the
aduio data, then it's trivial for them to read the tags. Heck, there's
freeware/shareware out there that that does it.
