I have jsut set up a home wireless netowrk. It works
great, except for file sharing.
The base computer (hooked to the DSL) is XP Pro and the
wireless laptop is XP Home.
The base computer can open the workgroup and see both
computers, but when i double click on the laptop it
says "\\Blah is not accessible. you may not have
permissions to the network. Contact the admin." Well
lucky for me, I am te admin, but I am confused.
When I click on view workgroup computers on the laptop it
thinks for a WHILE and then comes back with "Network is
not accessible. you may not have permissions to the
network. Contact the admin."
Can someone help me out, or point to a site that goes
through step-by-step bow to share between an XP pro and
an XP home.
