I've got a Win2KPro machine with printers attached to it.
I've got a new XP desktop and want to be able to do file/print sharing. (I
want the XP machine to be able to see/print off the 2000 machine).
When I tried this with a 2000 laptop, everything was fine, I just put them
in the same workgroup, logged in as Adminstrator, and it worked.
Now, I've got the XP machine and I've made three users, all of which have
Administrator rights. I cannot see the 2000 machine in "My Network Places".
Is there a way to configure this such that it just doesn't matter who the
heck is logged onto the XP machine, just that it can see the shared
files/printers on the 2000 machine? I'm looking for the most basic
configuration.
Thanks,
Scott
