Why do files when viewed on an XP box from a windows 2003 server share behave
as read only when the same file when accessed on the server has full access.
The files where moved from an old NT file server recently? The read only box
on the file is unchecked in both locations, but the root and sub folders have
greyed out checks in them. The folders also deny access when trying to save.

Because the Share Permissions has not been set for the user as the NTFS permissions have
been set for Read/Write access.
