Hi! I am trying to send an e-mail with a Microsoft word document.
can send it, but when the person receiving tries to open the document
they get the following message:

The document name or path is not valid. Try these suggestions.
*Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
*Use the File Open dialog box to locate the document.
(C:\...\message.doc)

I have tried to save it to a different location or change th
permissions, but still it does not work. I, myself, can open it.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for any help.

Scot

Hi! Yes, I do have Microsoft Word. I am using Microsoft Office 2002.
I have tried the options you suggested, but it still does not work.
Any other ideas?

Thanks!

If your recipient is using Norton AV - get him/her to uncheck its Office
Plug-in which is useless.
Also the file needs to be saved to the hard drive rather than opened from
the e-mail reader.
