When I preview a document under File>Open with Preview View active, some
documents show the entire page (100%) while others show the top left corner
(10%). How can I get the Preview View to be consistent? Thank you

Penny

What is displayed depends on whether or not you have saved a preview picture
with the document (there's a check box on the Summary tab of File |
Properties). There are two considerations here:

1. Saving a preview picture increases the file size inordinately.

2. The preview picture is usually less useful than the close-up preview,
which you can scroll through and see the entire document contents (not
formatted but at least readable). The only time a preview picture is much
help is when you have distinctive and large layout elements or graphics on
the first page of a document/template.
