when you go to file, open, other users folder, it creates
a chache so that you can easily access that users folder
again, instead of having to go into the actual search and
pull them up every time. My question is.. Is there a way
to disable that, or at least clear out that chache? I have
users that are no longer even with the company still on
that dropdown, and i just want to clear it out. any input
is appreciated!

thanks,
justin

Yes you can. Do a search for their names in the subkeys of the following key
in the registry;
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles]

Make sure you export the key before you delete something out of it.
