File Open Box Size

In any windows based program, such as excel, clicking file - open will open
up a popup box for selecting files. Is there a way to change the default size
of this box? I can make it larger by dragging a corner, but when I exit the
program and then re start it then box reverts back to its small size.
 
Hmm, it normally at the size I set for me. Perhaps you should ask the
question in the Office newsgroup see if anyone there has any ideas.

Try holding the Ctrl key down and clicking the close button.
That method applies only to Open/Save dialog boxes, not
explorer windows, as many mistakenly suggest.
