file names

I'm using Outlook 2000. What are the file names I should save if I
want to keep a backup of my Favorites and address book?

The 'favorites' that appear in Outlook are the same as IE's. You can export
them to an .HTM file in IE using the Import/export wizard under File.

To back up your Contacts, use Outlook's Import/export wizard under File

Thanks for your reply, but I need more info. The export wizard for
Contacts gives me multiple choices to export to, but I don't see one
for Outlook itself. I want to save this info because soon I will have
to go thru the format/re-install routine and I would like the file
names if you know them.

I believe that contacts are contained within your .PST file, but I always
output my contacts separately to a .csv file.
