File names with Special Characters

I have a client that cannot open files with a registered mark in the
file name. They've also requested that the file be saved to PPT 95. Is
the registered mark the reason these files don't open for them.

We are currently running on Windows & PPT 2000, I imagine they're
running on Windows & PPT 95.

I think it has more to do with what characters are allowed in the file name,
that their particular operating system will allow. BTW, anything saved as ppt95,
from later versions will become a huge file, with none of the special effects
incorporated.

IF they are really still using PPT95, their filenames will be limited to
eight characters (plus 3 for .PPT), and you can't use neither special
characters apart from A-Z and 0-9 nor spaces or the like! Keep it simple!
