File names under Filmstrip and thumbnails are not appearing

When I am under MY Documents, Pictures, the filmstrip and thumbnail options
are not displaying the filename, only the folder image. The filename appears
on all other views...

The following tweak originally posted by
Yves Alarie should solve the problem.

"How to Restore or Disable File Names
for Thumbnails in Windows XP"
(works for thumbnail view and filmstrip view)

Open a folder that contains image files.

Press and hold your Shift key while clicking
on the View button and select Details.

Continue holding the Shift key and click
on the View button and select Thumbnails
again.
