file names gone + folder tasks appeared

I "did something" to my folders and now the file names
have dissapeared in My Documents when viewed as
thumbnails. In addition, the Folder tasks side bar has
appeared and i CANT GET RID OF IT!
 
As for as the folder tasks go, you can get rid of them via Tools \ Folder
Options (select "Use Windows Classic Folders")
