Hi everyone
Maybe that is a simple question for you but i've search
the answer and didn't found. My slide show is made of
jpg's files. How do i put their names ( DSC002532.jpg) on
the footer so all can see it?
Tks in advance

The "Footer" area is designed to be on all slides so going into the
Header/Footer section will defeat your purpose, however, you can insert a
text box from the Drawing Toolbar and position it wherever you want and type
in whatever you want. It can easily be formatted the way you want on the
first slide, copied, and pasted on subsequent slides so it appears in the
exact same place. All you need to do is to type in the new name (which you
would have needed to do anyway).

Hope this helps!

What Bill said. Or you can use Shyam's Image Importer Wizard -- it will
let you put the file names in as captions, I believe.

Did you use PowerPoint's photoalbum function? Then there should be a
checkbox to include the file name. Using "Format | Photoalbum" you can add
this to your album after finishing it (but not if you created a "normal"
slideshow without using that function).

Kind regards,
Ute

You can also write a macro that would copy the first line of text from the
notes section and paste it onto the footer for that individual slide.

Would this help?

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint 2000, 2002 and 2003 have a Photo Album feature that does exactly
this. For PowerPoint 2000 it's an add-in that needs to be downloaded, but
for PowerPoint 2002/2003 the feature is built in and available from "Insert
-> Pictures -> New Photo Album"

The PowerPoint 2000 add-in can be downloaded from:

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
include additional features and options for bulk inserting of images
(without having to resort to VBA or add-ins), don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
