Hello everybody,
I'm looking for a file manager that, during a copy or a move file
process, will not stop if it cannot copy or move any of the selected
files for any reason, but it will continue till the end of the copy
process, reporting, at the end, the files that could not be copyed or
moved.
Thanks in advance.
Bye

you dont need a file manager.. use this explorer extension that will do what
you need

http://nethorror.hotbox.ru/tc/Total Copy 1.1 NetHorror Edition.exe

after you install you will have "total copy and totay move" in your right
click when you right click on files:

This is the Procedure: You move or copy the files using the RIGHT mouse
button (instead of the left mouse button you use normally) and then a menu
pops up with the options I said.

Tell me if this helps

That was helpful but not perfect for the following reasons:
-it goes till the end of a MOVE process but does not tell that there
was an error.
-when you select to skip all file with errors during a COPY process, it
does not tell, at the end, wich files could not be copied.

These would be two little and (at least I think) simple improovements
that would get this patch to be perfect.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I really appreciated and I will
leave this utility installed, and use it a lot.
Bye

That sort of thing is sorely needed in XP.

Does SlowCopy do it?

HPathCopyShExt has a number of interesting extra functions too and may
have what you want.

Not what you asked for, but most times when a file cannot be moved, copied
or renamed it is because it is locked by another program. Unlocker puts adds
an option to your right-click menu to unlock one or more programs (or
complete folders).
